Scott Schlegel’s Stock Market Indicators – January 5th, 2020

Happy New Year. Here are the first readings from my proprietary stock market indicators. Be sure to also check out the Macro Indicators as I recently updated the page.

Ultra Short Term is neutral.
Short term is neutral.
Medium term is slightly overbought. I think it is a bit funny how the rally from 2015 to late 2018 was marked by typically higher highs of this indicator than this rally where the S&P made a significant move up to new highs.
Long term has recently spiked above neutral and is working getting back to the value set around July 2018 prior to the decline which ended up starting QE4 and stopping interest rate raising by the Fed.
