Scott Schlegel’s Stock Market Indicators – March 4th, 2019

Ultra short term is neutral.
Short term is neutral.
Medium term is overbought.
Long term remains depressed. If you look at Deutsche Bank (NYSE: DB), you’ll see an example of a stock in the percent of stocks that are oversold in this metric.

We will encounter some seasonal headwinds in the next two weeks. Medium term remains overbought, VIX is slightly oversold, and Long term many stocks haven’t yet recovered from the sell off last fall. It’s not a super low risk time to be buying equities.
